Red Spinel
Red Spinel, also known as ‘Spinel ruby gemstone’, is the deep red color variety of Spinel that is considered most valuable. It is quite rare and is worn as a substitute for Ruby in astrology and jewelry. It also holds deep metaphysical meaning and is worn to gain stability and balance in life.
Red Spinel is the Ruby-red variety of the Spinel family. Fine Red Spinel is actually rarer than Ruby of equal color tone. However, it is an undervalued gemstone, with its cost about 30% lower than Ruby. The scarcity of good Spinel is the reason for its lack of demand and popularity. This inhibits Spinel from being a more mainstream gemstone.
Red Spinel can be identical in appearance to Ruby. However, Spinel is usually lighter in color, and the deep-red Spinel is usually more of a brick-red than the Red of Ruby which has a slight blue or purple tinge to it. However, only optical properties and hardness can truly distinguish these two gemstones.

Since Red Spinel is a substitute for Ruby, it has similar astrological benefits as that of Ruby. Red Spinel represents the Sun and works the same way as a Ruby does, only in a weaker fashion due to the reason that it is a substitute.
Depending on the placement of Sun in a person's horoscope, wearing Red Spinel gemstone can favorably improve the career, health, temperament and social status of natives and related ascendants.
Red Spinel should be worn on the ring finger of the working hand and Sunday morning is the most suitable time. Blood-RedSpinel works the best although stones with lighter hues can also be worn. It is strongly advised to wear the ring with Gold but Brass, Silver or White Gold can also be considered as alternatives. The weightof the stone must be 1/12th of the bodyweight of the wearer. Meaning, if the wearer weighs 60kgs, the stone must weigh 5 carats (1/12th of 60 is 5).
It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose.
There are many variations of passages of Lorem Ipsum available, but the majority have suffered alteration in some form, by injected humour, or randomised words which don't look even slightly believable.
