Who performs this Ketu Puja?

Astronomically, Ketu is the southern node of the Moon, which means the mathematical point in the south where the orbits of Earth and Moon intersect and which moves back in a retrograde fashion and completes one circle of the zodiac in 18 years. It is always 180 degrees apart from that of Rahu.
This planet is acknowledged to be the worldly malefic and spiritually beneficial to individuals because it causes loss of property and sorrow which ultimately turns the devotee into God. Unlike its counterpart planet Rahu, He does not have any material embodiment.
